  • August 24: 9-11 a.m. Floral Design workshop with Beau Keen. Hands on – you will go home with a floral arrangement and learn the skills to use flowers from your garden and natural materials to create beautiful displays.$30.00 fee includes supplies. Registration Required.
  • September 21: 9-11 a.m. Bees and Bugs! We’ll make native bee nesting boxes and learn how insects are an important part of the successful garden. All ages. $30.00 fee includes supplies. Registration Required.
  • October 19: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Springville Apple Festival
  • November 16: 9 -11 a.m. Propagation: learn techniques for collecting, storing and starting from seed and from cuttings some of the favorite California native plants for your garden.  $30.00 fee includes supplies.  Registration Required.
  • December 7: 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Community Wreath Making. Opportunity to collect your materials before workshop. Join us for this popular community event during Christmas in Springville weekend. Free admission.

Past Events:

We had a beautiful day and a great group for our BIRDS! Workshop May 18, 2024. Leader Joan Parker (center) gave us a talk about bird houses and supporting birds in your landscape and led us on a bird walk through the nursery’s “wild side.”
Our seasonal employee Peter led the group in making pine cone seed feeders participants took home to feed their local birds!
