Featured Plants

Salvia ‘Dara’s Choice’ and its relatives, Shirley’s Creeper, Tera Seca and Bees’ Bliss are all great native ground covers for almost every garden.
One of the oddest California plants, wild cucumber aka Sierra manroot (Marah horrida) is a vigorous vine with a very short growth period that can see it take over shrubs and trees and pop up each spring over an acre or more all from one root system! Not for every garden.
The always popular Blue Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium bellum) is not really a grass, but a spring-blooming small perennial great for edges and containers. Summer dormant so plan carefully.
